OjaiStyle was created to promote and distribute the products of Ojai artists and merchants online. The company was founded in 2007 by Anne Smith, a public relations consultant, and Katrina Rice Schmidt, a city planner and an Ojai Valley resident. Their love of Ojai and its lifestyle prompted them to launch a website where art and food enthusiasts from all over the country could experience the magic of Ojai through a rich collection of all things Ojai.
By showcasing Ojai culture, products and artwork with online shoppers and making local products available online, Smith and Schmidt hope to share their admiration for and respect of the unique, upscale lifestyle with consumers nationwide.

Chele Gutek, vidoegrapher: Film is an interactive medium, which is the reason Chele is drawn to it. She believes that engaging in watching a movie is to access the innermost part of yourself that forms opinions and relates to the world. Her goal in being a filmmaker is to touch people with film the way it touches her, and to instill in the viewer optimism, open-mindedness, and the understanding of others. She wants to suspend the viewers' lives and let them see through someone else's eyes, to provoke imagination and new ideas that will change and shape a new world.
